Beginning in January 2023
Finding our True Selves: Overcoming Childhood Trauma, Loss and Abandonment
This 6 week course is focused on helping participants identify and heal from their traumatic experiences that are at the root of their current hurtful beliefs and behaviors that block their ability to feel fully happy or connected to themselves and others. Participants will learn to develop new skills for tapping into their authentic selves through Mindfulness Activities, Body Sensation Awareness, Stress reduction exercises and Assessments that will address redefining and improving their relationships.

Women's Domestic Violence Healing Group
A series of 10 group sessions that focus on helping women heal from the trauma of abuse by giving them a deeper understanding of the dynamics of abuse, while also empowering them by helping them build their support system and learning more tools to gain a better sense of safety.
This is an open group so participants can begin the group and attend at anytime.

ACT Now From Anger and Stress to Building Resilience Group
This is a 10 week group for individuals who are struggling with managing their anger and stress effectively but are at lower risk for DV. Participants are not court referred and will be highly encouraged to attend bi-weekly to monthly individual counseling services either with a therapist at our agency or with another individual therapist if preferred. These clients may have a partner or spouse in the ACT Now Partner group that we will have conjoint sessions with for the last 4 to 5 group sessions to practice and integrate effective communication skills and facilitate repairing and healing that relationship. The curriculum for this group is a comprehensive psycho-educational, experiential and therapeutic approach. Dates and times TBA.
Act Now for Partner to Build Resilience Group
This is a 10 week group for the partners of the participants who are in the ACT Now Anger and Stress management group individuals. They are at a lower risk for DV, not court referred, and will be highly encouraged to attend bi-weekly to monthly individual counseling services either with a therapist at our agency or with another individual therapist if preferred. The first 4 to 5 groups will be focused on understanding the cycle of anger, co-dependency and improving individual coping skills. We will have conjoint sessions with the ACT Now Anger and Stress management group for the last 4 to 5 group sessions to practice and integrate effective communication skills and facilitate repairing and healing that relationship. The curriculum for this group is a comprehensive psycho-educational, experiential and therapeutic approach. Dates and times TBA.
Rage to Resilience Anger Management Group
This is a 10-12 week group is for individuals who have identified risk factors for DV who are needing to learn ways to more effectively manage their stress and anger. This course is generally voluntarily self referred rather than court ordered. We will also require these clients to attend weekly to bi-weekly individual counseling either with a therapist at our agency or with another individual therapist if preferred. The curriculum for this group is a comprehensive psycho-educational, experiential and therapeutic approach. Dates and times TBA.
